Green Panda is tolerant of both sun and shade - it is one of the most hardy and versatile clumping bamboos. A single Green Panda is eye-catching as a focal point in the landscape. Wolong’s extra-large shiny dark green leaves give it an exotic appearance. It maintains a narrower profile than other clumping bamboo – excellent for limited space. Wolong is more sun tolerant than other varieties, but in hot climates protect it from the harsh direct summer afternoon sun. Wolong will also grow and mature even in full shade, thus is adaptable to many locations in a landscape. Wolong is a rare bamboo.  We have a limited inventory, please check before coming. It has large graceful deep-green glossy leaves and light green emerging shoots. These develop into golden culms, creating attractive color variations among the canes.
